SEVAI Shanthi Matriculation Higher Secondary school Toppers were honoured with OZONE MEDALS by Dr. RV Varun Kumar (UPSC IAS-2011 Exam Rank 3).

School topper Palanisamy receives OZONE Medal

Trichy 30^th June: Dr. RV Varun Kumar   (UPSC IAS-2011 Exam Rank 3) handed over Cash awards with “OZONE” Medals to 55 students SEVAI Shanthi Matriculation Higher Secondary school toppers and  the outstanding mark holders of this school and    handed over cheques for an amount of Rs.185000 to these students. Dr. RV Varun Kumar   said that “he is happy that the school admits students from all sections of society and guides them to become achievers in all spheres of life”. He also delivered a speech encouraging students to pursue their ambitions and think of ways to improve the country. “As long as you work hard and follow your dreams, there is no limit to what you can achieve as students, and later on, as professionals, further advised “you always believe in your ability to make the world a better place, through your actions and through our words”. J.Abinaya, one of the school toppers mentioned “I wish to keep my passion for dance alive throughout her life, and showcase Indian Culture at various arenas. J.Abinaya is a student of SEVAI Shanthi Matriculation Higher Secondary school passed her Xth standard and joined in Plus one in the same school. She has been a consistent performer in academics throughout her schooling, and excels in co-curricular activities as well. She is also a graceful Bharatanatyam dancer, who started learning this dance form from the tender age of six. She was also the Head Girl of the school, and discharged her duties and responsibilities with utmost diligence. She has been able to beautifully balance academics, dance and the responsibility of leading the Student Council; and has evolved as an excellent all-rounder’. School topper Palanichamy had expressed his happiness over the results be it in SSLCexaminations. He said “the worksheets, the monthly tests and pre- exams helped him to judge their various skills and recognize his mistakes. Teachers completed the portions early and encouraged students to face the examinations with confidence. And, when the results were announced, it was time to express gratitude to one’s mentor. “I am very thankful to my teachers. They were very supportive and taught the subjects very well,” said Palanichamy, topper in Class X Public examination. Principal Ms.Mallika said that they had conducted three pre-Public examinations besides class tests to boost the confidence of the students. SEVAI Shanthi Matriculation Higher Secondary School honoured the school toppers in the Matriculation and Plus II examinations at a function here recently.
